Matt Evans

Matt Evans is the chairperson of the JDA Board and president of the MCJDA. Matt is also the owner of Prairie Ford at Stanley and is vice president of the ND Auto Dealers Association Board. Matt was asked to join the JDA Board when he served in the Stanley Commercial Club. When he is not working, Matt spends most of his time fishing at Van Hook Resort and golfing during the summer. In Fall, Matt hunts deer and pheasant with his son.

Kristin Jaeger

As vice chair for the Mountrail County JDA Board, Kristin Jaeger helps support local causes and businesses and strengthens rural community vitality. Jaeger also serves the region as director of the Parshall Promoters Board, treasurer of the North Shore Parent Teacher Organization, and vice chair of the Parshall Area Community Foundation.

Thomas Nash

As a member of the New Town Board, Thomas Nash was recommended to the JDA Board. Thomas serves as the secretary and treasurer to further his goal of divvying funds amongst businesses in Mountrail County. Thomas not only appreciates New Town for its tight-knit community, but for its beauty and small size as well. When he isn't busy, Thomas enjoys walking on the bike trails of New Town to appreciate its scenic views.

Jason Rice

Feeling a drive to serve his community as much as possible, Jason Rice offered to serve on the JDA Board. He draws his experience from serving on the Mountrail County Board of Commissioners and the Mountrail County Park Board to encourage entrepreneurs to reach out for funding. Outside of the JDA Board, Jason participates in community events with his family.

William Wilber

William Wilber has served on the JDA Board since 2018, representing New Town, ND. Wilber brings in a variety of skills and knowledge from his experiences as a member of the New Town American Legion Board and the Finance Committee of the ND American Legion. He says his passion is giving back to his community by volunteering for countless organizations!

Tom Huus

Recommended through his role as a board member of the Parshall City Council, Tom Huus became a JDA board member to further serve his community. Tom Huus holds positions as the treasurer of the Parshall Fire Department and president of the Parshall Golf Club. Tom is eager to drive interest in applying for grants as he feels they are an excellent opportunity for receiving funding.

Tara Uran

Tara Uran wears many hats in Mountrail County; she serves as a member on the Mountrail County Farm Bureau Board. Tara initially was an Ag lender for Bravera Bank for 10 years, but was encouraged by her work to get involved in her community. The JDA Board is one of the ways Tara likes to contribute to the Mountrail County area. Tara enjoys spending time with her family, whether it's by farming with her father or playing volleyball with her two kids.

Plaza

Ethan Stein

Ethan Stein serves as a member of the Plaza City Council. He was introduced to the JDA when Plaza City Council collaborated in the construction of a new community building. Ethan gets involved with his community by volunteering for his fire department and attending community events.
